About Carver

Carver is a Pre Kindergarten Early Learning Center within Ector County ISD serving 3 and 4 yr olds in Ector County within our assigned attendance zone.  Carver has 18 classrooms.  Fourteen of which are General Education including four Dual Language classrooms.  The remaining classrooms serve students with special needs.

Our staff is comprised of a certified teacher and an instructional assistant in each classroom.  Our full time Counselor supports the emotional development in each child.  A full time Library Assistant focuses on approriate literature and supports students as they discover the world of books.

Carver welcomes Parents and Families as Partners in their children's education.  There are multiple opportunities throughout the school year either school wide, team planned or individual classroom focused for Families to Engage in our school.  Academic Parent Teacher Team Meetings are at the core of our Parent Partnership relationship.  We believe:

  • Parents are vital to education
  • Parents are capable of supporting their students
  • Parents desire to support their students
  • Parents are valued as equal Partners.
